Falafel
2 cups of Chickpeas, soaked overnight in water. (I think that's about 3/4 of a cup of DRY Chickpeas.)
A big bunch of Cilantro or Parsley, about 1/2 cup
The Juice of 1 Lemon
2 Tbsp Flour
1 tsp Baking Soda
4-5 Cloves of Garlic
1 cup Green Onions, sliced
1 tsp ground Coriander
2 tsp ground Cumin
Salt to taste
Combine all that in a food processor and process until you're able to form patties. If the mix wont hold together, process more or add flour.
Deep Fry at 350 degrees until Golden Brown and Delicious.
Tahini Sauce!
2-3 tbsp Tahini
Juice of 1 Lemon
2-3 tbsp olive oil
2-3 cloves of Garlic, crushed
Salt
Water (to thin to desired texture. Optional)
Eat these guys in a Pita with some chopped onion, tomato, and cucumber, or just eat them on their own with Tahini Sauce!
